The concert was open to the public, and the music rang through the old depot. The audience that enjoyed the performance ranged from school children to seniors. The event brought many diverse people together in the community of music.
Ching Yi Lin, a professor of violin at Western Kentucky University, says, “I think what’s absolutely amazing about music is that you can have children and students from different backgrounds, different abilities, different levels come together to speak a common language of music.”
