Recipient of FUSE Grant 2016

Dr. Ching-Yi Lin and Anna Darling (WKU Violin Performance Major) are the recipients of WKU's Faculty–Undergraduate Student Engagement (FUSE) Grant. FUSE grants are designed to support undergraduate students' intellectual development by fostering active engagement in the areas of research, creative and scholarly activities, and/or artistic performances.  In 2017, Dr. Lin supervised Anna on her trip to teach violin to children in Africa through the Daraja Music Initiative Program. The trip was fully funded by this grant.

Student Research Conference

Anna Darling shared her teaching experience in Tanzania with professors and peers at the Student Research Conference on Saturday, March 24. Anna was awarded first Place in her division! Congratulations, Anna!
